The first question the kids were asked to reflect on in this category was on August 29, 2023 and it was what they most liked to do that’s fun? These were their answers:

Nangobi Mariam likes playing with dolls like a mother.❤️

Saftina likes watching TV programmes for fun.👀

Nasabu likes to read.📚

Nabilla likes riding a bicycle just for fun.🚲

Shortly after Christmas, this category came round again and the kids were asked what they’d most enjoyed about Christmas, 2023?

At the Mushunga Project they answered:

1. Vincent: My favorite part of Christmas was spending time with family and friends. ❤️

2. Annitah: My favorite part of Christmas was opening gifts that were given to me by my friends. 🎁

3. ⁠Ashiram: My favorite part on Christmas was eating meat and also sharing with my best friends, like Phielomon. 🙋🏽‍♂️

4. Albert: My favorite part on Christmas was seeing my friends in the church choir singing Christmas songs. 🎼

5. Maria: My favorite part on Christmas was seeing people sharing together. 🫂

6. Ameria: My favorite part on Christmas was seeing my fellow friends are happy and in new clothes like how l was also.👚

7. Peace: My favorite part on Christmas was walking with my friends while we were eating popcorn and everyone was smiling. 🍿

8. Gift: My favorite on Christmas was with me and my family. We all went to the church and listened to the word of God. 🌞

9. Tonny: My favorite part during Christmas was seeing the orphaned kids in our care all looking smart and also some joined the choir in the church. It was really fun and this brought joy to their faces! ❤️🎄

1. Mulondo: My favourite part was when we had a big meal together as one family at the end of the year. 🥘

2. Lubale: My favourite part was eating and going to the bouncing castles.🎪

3. Luwazo: My favourite part was receiving sandles and some more gifts on Christmas. 🩴

4. Waiswa: My favourite part was when we watched the movie of Jesus Christ and the reason why we celebrated Christmas 2023. ❤️

5. Nbone’s favourite part was when he went to the bouncing castles for the first time. 🎪

6. Nkugwa: My favourite part was when we went to the church and the priest said that we are all children of God. 😇

7. Mukose: My favourite part was when I received the beautiful sandals. 🩴

Rihana: Going to the resort hotel to ;swim. 💦

Christopher: Excitedly unwrapping presents.🎁

Kyatwike: My favourite part was actually burning candles overnight at church, eating a lot of meat, rice and chicken in plenty and going to mum resort hotel.🍗

Erizeth: Me baking delicious Christmas cookies with crowds was fun.🍪

Benjamin: I played the whole day with other friends, Jonah and Bosco, in the neighborhood, and no one could stop us but now we don’t play so much.⛹🏽‍♀️

Flowrence: For me, when we attended a heartwarming Christmas Eve church service in new clothes that will take a long time to wear out.👚

Victor: I was given so much meat, rice and soda and everything was plenty but now we are going to be eating potatoes ….posho everyday…. like rice is over….ah 🥓

Deziranta: Me also–I enjoyed eating plenty of meat, rice and soda but now we are going to be eating posho ah, too..🍗

On March 19, 2024, The kids were asked to reflect on something fun that they do that they would like to share with the Source and Center living inside of them 🙏 the next time they did it. The kids from the Mushunga Community Project said this:

1. Godwin K.: “I love playing soccer with my friends. I would share a game with God!”.⚽️

Nabitaka; I love so much skipping lopes so the next time I would like to do it with God and we have much fun together.📿

Nambi; I like singing worship sings with my friends and it would much fun when we do it with God.🎼

Mwogezi; I like dancing and I would like to share a performance with God.💃

The kids at the Vine of Hope like to have fun doing these simple things:

1. Mulondo; Making my drawing and sharing to my little ones is fun to me.✍🏼

2. Luwazo; Playing soccer and making my dribbling against my team opponents is fun.⚽️

3. Lubale; Playing a hopscotch game with my friends is more fun and it makes me have fun.👫

4. Waiswa; Going in the mirror after showering and making silly faces 😜 🤪

5. Mukose; Doing kite flying is something small that makes him feel fun.🎐

6. Nbone; I think that small thing to me is making paper airplanes ✈️.

7. Nkugwa; I can imagine seeing my self making cars out of the mud soil.🚗

9. Makanika; Having an evening walk alone while going to fetch water.💧

1. Desilanta: Learning how to dance traditional dances that look like a lot of fun.💃

2. Rihana: Playing the guitar, it would be fun to create my own songs.🎸

3. Erizetth: Drawing and painting because I find it fun to express my imagination on paper.🎨

4. Salima: I am interested in learning how to cook different types of food–and it would be fun to make treats for everyone.🥘

5. Francis: I would like to learn how to play football, I imagine it as a fun way to stay active and make new friends.⚽️

6. Jeremiah: I’m curious about learning how to play the piano, it looks fun to create beautiful music.🎹

2. Nakibuka; Being kind and loving to each other.😇

3. Nambi; Sharing a toy to anyone who wants it.🪆

4. Mwogezi; Take a step to control the situation if there is anyone annoyed.🖐🏽

5. Nakato; Ask for something before using it while playing.🙂

6. Nangobi; Don’t provoke anyone because it can easily lead into fights.🗣️

7. Nakibuka; Help each other so that the game can be fun.😇

8. Nakayima; Don’t shout to one another.🗣️

9. Mulondo; We should always follow the rules of the game.👯‍♂️
