This category is very much about learning—from the purely intellectual study of subjects to deeper forms of thought—reflection on moral, ethical and philosophical issues.🙏

The first time the children were asked a question was on September 18, 2023 and they were asked how being a person who’s curious about things helps you to be a better person for other people?😇

At Isa’s Vine of Hope, they answered:
Waiswa said that learning new things like sharing with others is so important and it also helps in treating others in a better way.💏

Mariam said that being a curious person who has learnt how to be simple and easy to reach helps her to help any child in need.🫴🏾

Luwazo said that learning new things like keeping a smile on his fellows is something great that God wants him to do. He’s decided to love and care about everyone at home thus treating them in a better way.😊

Nkugwa said that learning new things like forming cars out of mud to share with others makes them to feel good and loveable.🚗

Being a curious person, Swaliki learnt how to create games to play together, like hide-and-seek, so that everyone can feel needed and loved.👯‍♂️

Nakato learnt how to be someone simple and she said that she learnt from the bible how to welcome everyone in, which makes them love her so much so that’s treating them better.❤️

So we asked the kids to meditate and reflect on this question: How does learning new things help me to cooperate more and find solutions without fighting? ❤️😇❤️

On May 20, 2025, still working with the divine value of tolerance, we asked the kids what there is about being tolerant and listening to how other people think that can help us to become smarter and wiser as humans? ❤️😇❤️

Other viewpoints:

Here is what the little ones had to share about tolerance at Savannah Rose;

Erizeth:
When we listen to others, we learn new ways of thinking. It helps our brains grow because we don’t know everything.🧑🏽‍🎓

Francis:
Being tolerant helps us make more friends and understand how to solve problems without fighting.👫

Rihana:
I think listening to others teaches us understand more.😌

Kyatwike:
Sometimes other people see things we don’t see. And if we can’t listen, we never get the information.👂🏼

Flowrence:
If we respect others’ thoughts, they will respect ours too.🙏

Jeremiah:
When we’re patient and hear others out, we understand better. That makes us wiser.😇

Shalom:
Even if someone thinks differently, they might have a good idea. That can help us grow smart together.💡

Mark:
I learn more when I hear other people’s stories. It makes me think in new ways.🗣️

Desilanta:
Being tolerant is like opening a book. You get to read many ideas and become more clever.📘

Salima:
If we only listen to ourselves, we don’t learn. Tolerance is a key to learning more.👋🏽

Christopher:
I believe God teaches us to love others. Listening is love, and love makes us wiser.❤️

Benjamin:
People have different experiences. If we listen, we learn things we’ve never seen before.☺️

Victor:
Wisdom comes when we understand others, not just ourselves. That’s why tolerance matters.👥

Science Reveals How Things are Interrelated::

On July 28, 2025, working with the Angels of Enlightenment, we asked the kids to reflect once again on what Hildegard of Bingen said about everything being “penetrated with relatedness”. The study of science teaches us about the material world so the question was: “How can studying science help us to understand God‘s creation and how everything is related?” ❤️😇❤️

The kids at Mustangs learning hands about how the physical world works:

The study of science helps the kids at Mushunga to learn and appreciate how these physical and spiritual realities relate:

1. Godwin K.:
Science helps me learn about trees and flowers. I think God made them all to give us food and make the world pretty.🌳

2. Anitah N.:
When I look at stars with science, I feel like God made a big sky full of lights just for us to dream.🌟

3. Albert G.:
Science tells us how our hearts beat. I think God made our hearts to love each other.❤️

4. Ameria A.:
I learned that rain comes from clouds. God made the rain to help plants grow, so we have food.💦

5. Ajuna M.:
I saw how ants work together in science. I think God wants us to work together too.🐜

6. Ignitius W.:
Science teaches me about animals. God made every animal special and part of the big world.🐊

7. Ashiram S.:
I like magnets in science. They stick things together. Maybe God made love like a magnet to bring people close.🧲

8. Tobius A.:
Science helps me see how water cleans things. I think God gave us water to make things new again.🛁

9. Angella N.:
I saw a butterfly in science. I think God made them to show us how we can grow and change.🦋

10. Peter T.:
I learned how plants need sun. God made the sun to help plants and people too.🌞

11. Rachael T.:
When we study our bodies, I see that God made everything inside us work so well.🫀

12. Caroline T.:
I think science helps us see how everything is joined. Like trees give us air, and we give them breath back.🌴

13. Elisha T.:
Science shows us how bugs help plants. God made bugs and plants to be friends.🦗

14. Philemon A.:
I saw in science that birds fly far away. Maybe God made them to remind us we can go far too.🦅

15. Blessing A.:
Science helped me learn about light. God made light so we don’t live in darkness.🌕

16. Gift K.:
When I look at fish in water, I think God made water and fish to show us how everything has a home.🐠

17. Rosette N.:
I learned about colors in science. God made all colors to make the world bright and happy.🌈

18. Alex N.:
Science helped me learn that everything is connected—-like how bees help flowers. I think God made everything to work together like a team.🌸
