Manyi John Ravics

I am Manyi John, director of Savannah Rose Rescue Home, which caters to 13 wonderful children. My journey into this work stems from a deep personal experience with adversity and a profound love for children.

Growing up in a rural area, I experienced firsthand the difficulties of limited access to healthcare. Many children around me suffered from hunger and the absence of a stable and supportive family environment. These experiences fueled my determination to create a sanctuary for children who need care and love — facing the numerous hardships of poverty and limited access to education — so that I could be a pipeline, inspiring others to create opportunities for children in similar situations.

My involvement with Working Angels began as a calling to provide a nurturing and supportive space for children to grow spiritually and emotionally. I believe in the power of worship, in connecting consciousness and love, and this project has allowed me to foster these values in a community setting. The children under our care are not just recipients of aid; they are part of a family where they learn to support each other and strive towards their goals.

Joining Working Angels has been transformative, allowing me to turn my life’s difficulties into a mission of hope and empowerment. It has inspired me to keep striving, knowing that, through this project, we can touch the lives of many more children regardless of their religious or racial backgrounds. We aim to universally apply the teachings of love and worship, creating a program that prepares the way for a brighter future.
